Default Rubbing with 205s?

I really need to know if anyone has rubbing issues with 205/50/15 tires with a stock suspension. I have a 99 Civic EX Coupe and am deciding between stock size 195/55/15 and 205/50/15. I am running 96 Integra GSR wheels. PLEASE HELP!!

If you haven't lowered it, you will not have rubbing issues with this setup. If you have - you might, but I doubt it.

I am running 205/50-16 with H&R OE Sport Springs (.75 drop)

Hardly ever rubs, only on the really hard bounces (these springs arent all that stiff)
Dont think it ever rubbed when I had the stock suspension

That's funny...I was running 205/50/16s (Falken) and they rubbed on hard cornering and when I had 4 people or lots of weight in the car. This was with stock suspension. Any other opinions? Thanks guys!

Well, yea then. It may rub if you have lots of weight in the car pushing down the suspension.

my coupe is lowered about 2.5'' all around and i have 95 gsr rim w/ bridgestone re730's 205/50/zr15 and do not have any rubbing problems at all.. you should be fine unless your car is slammed on the ground..

no your car will not rub. even if your car is dropped...the 'butterfly' effect will tuck your tires inside the fender walls nicely. i'm had 205/50/15's on some GSR webs and they never rubbed once. and that was with neuspeed sport springs w/99 teg struts on my hatch.

From what I hear they shouldn't be a problem then. I'll probably go with the 205/50/15s. Thanks again!

Yep, no rubbing on my 205/50-15 tires on stock GS-R wheels, and I'm lowered a pretty significant amount, too.

205/50-16 will probably have some problems because the tire is too big.

Yup, this tire is a little bigger in diameter than stock. 205/45-16 may be nicer, a hair smaller in diameter than stock.

I'm running 205/50x15" Falken Azenis tires on 15x7" wheels with 45mm offset and I don't rub and Azenis tires are actually 215/50x15" or even 225/50x15"

I don't know about rubbing, but I have seen that size tire on a stock GS-R swirly rim, they looked like monster truck tires. Why don't you just get 205/50-15? 55's will make your acceleration slower by lowering your effective final drive.

my friend has 205/55 15"s on 95 GSR wheels lowered on skunk2 adjustable springs. the car is practically slammed and only the rears rub on the inside edge along the body. as far as the fronts, they rub the fender lip when making sharp turns
