Default EF9 conversion to disc brakes

yo do you need the brake booster from the car you take off the disc brakes cause i resentlly converted to disc brakes on my EF but i seems that the brakes are not working to good. i just need help to know if i need something else from the car i took the disc brakes off. like the brake booster?

If I read this right? You want to know if you need the brake master cylinder from the donar car to use with the swap on your car?

what u need is the propotioning valve from the donor car . the valve distibutes the rite amount of fliud accordingly to the brakes witch is different on your car witch had rear drums. do a search on prop valve or chaek the FAQ section, good luck!!!!

no, you don't need anything to do a disc brake conversion be it the front or rear brakes

you just might need to bleed them a little bit.

you will need two people for that, one to push the brake pedal and one to bleed the brakes

to bleed them, Push down the pedal 6 times and hold it down on the sixth time, have

your friend open the bleed bolt and then close it shut right after

Do this for each brake both front and both rear, to get the brake pressure up again.

he does if he did not change the prop valve ,bleeding will not fix his prob he will need to bleed after he is done though.

that is the valve40/40 good but i believe its a 35/40 for an EF 40/40 is for integraeither way just trying to help.

picked up my 4040 at the local junkyard for 35$ from 92 integra and it did make a difference after switching in out for the teg 4040
