Default need help ???????/

ok i have a 99 ek hatch
i was told that if i swaped a 00 b16 w the wire harnes in to my car that my rpms wouldnt work and also v-tec wont ether

is this tru ?

That's not true. If all the engine wire harness uncut and the speed sensor hooked up, they should be run perfect easily. V-tech should be engage but if there is problem with the V-tech solenoid, then the V-tech wont kick in.

well i put it in and the spedo nor the rpms work

i was told that the dash harness is diferent ???????????
