EM1 weird idle

EM1 weird idle
okay i just got this em1 yesterday with only 90,000 on the motor so i just got off the freeway to a stop light then the check engine light came on i put it in first gear and slightly gassed it and the idle was bogging sounded as if it had race cams and also the idles jump anywhere from 1200rpms at one stop light then to 900 at the next light. then right now when i was parrelel parking it went 500rpms for a second
the guy i bought it from said its the idle speed sensor and it needs to be replaced or clean my question is if he is correct if not what else could it be

yeah check the CEL code. if for some reason its not related check to see if you can hear a vacuum leak. i just had one last week on my car. the idle would go from 900 to 1200 up and down. i opened my hood and heard a hissing noise coming from the hose that came off my little fuel pressure thing on the fuel rail.
