Default Replacing front wheel studs

Hey guys, what's involved in replacing the front wheel studs (95 Accord EX, 4 lug)? If I can do it myself without a press, awesome.

Cruising down the tollway tonight at 70 when I started feeling a slight vibration which started getting worse by the second. As soon as I start slowing down.... off goes the front drivers-side wheel Luckily I was able to keep control and get the car off the road without smashing into the retaining wall. Anyway, went to pick up my wheel/tire and first thing I do when I get there is pop the center cap off.... 3 lugs inside. When I replaced the tranny 2 weeks ago all 4 were there..... somebody sabotaged my ****

Anyway, luckily it's just a ripped up fender, bent lugs, and the rotor will have to be turned. Could have been a lot worse. But any help as far as the wheel studs go is greatly appreciated, need her back on the streets asap.

You can remove the studs without a press. Simply, remove the tire and the brake caliper. Turn the brake so that you see the studs behind the rotor where the caliper was. Hammer it out, then put in the new studs. Use an extra nut and a washer to pull the stud through. Repeat 3 more times.

Cool man, appreciate it. I was down looking around the knuckle last night and noticed the caliper was in the way. Gonna crack into this tonight.

not on some cars. Some you are able to get away with this method, others you can't.

Remove the caliper and there is a spot on the back that you can rotate the stud to and simply tap it out with a hammer. To install the new one, put it in the same hole, put 2 washers on the stud, place a crowbar in 2 of the remaining studs to hold the assembly in place, and tighten a lug on the stud you're installing until it seats. Took me 15 minutes to replace all 4.
