I want to thank everyone that helped out via PM and email. All your suggestions on settings, speed, heat and filler choice made a big difference.

I am NOT a professional welder by any means, and just do it to make my own stuff, and help out a few buddies here and there. I have NOT been to any schools, other than a few week course about 14 years ago

on to the pics


DSM turbo(FP "red") on an SR20, in a 77 dastun 510. Buddy brought everything to me already tacked. All i did was clean it up and have at it. Pipe fitment is no where near perfect but he said it was fine with him

Ended up like this i know its hard to see) The gate extension is built into the wastegate flange as the FP turbo is setup like this. Im not a huge fan of this but its what the hardcore DSM guys love



O2 sensor for wideband on my neighbors Supra downpipe(yes its minor fab)





Aluminum radiator for above Datsun. It was a civic ebay radiator that had to have the return neck moved to the opposite side, so i cut it off blocked it off and moved it to the other side.




Like I said, im a total newb welder. I just decided one day "hey I wanna learn to weld" went out and bought a welder and had at it. I know I have a ton to learn, and am just excited to be making some kind of progress.

 

i'm more disappointed with your camera skills... is there someone you can pm about that?

all joking aside, since i got my new camera it seems to take worse pics than my old crapola camera, macro on or off????

Look for a flower looking picture on the camera somewhere. What camera you got?

Back that a$$ up. Back up and shoot it again or back up and zoom in will probably work better. Most of your pics, the back ground is in focus. Too many years of taking pictures of what your wife thought was her....actually you were focusing in on her friends in the back ground.
