i got a 93 ls motor i built and wanna keep my hatch hydraulic...plus the cable transmission i recieved with the motor is screwed and ive heard different things from everyone on what transmissions will and will not work with this setup......PLEASE HELP

if someone could tell me what would work and what wouldnt as far as the GSR tranny or b16 transmissions

All B series trannys have the same bolt pattern and are interchangable

Yes you can use your hydro tranny on ANY B motor (No b20A early Prelude)

You have to use the hydro clutch *

Look around the internet... you will learn alot

 

ok then another questuion wil the ls clutch i have now work for a b16 tranny if i get one...its a 94-01 integra clutch

yes.. the 94-01 clutch will fit any hydro tranny you choose to use.

 

last question...do they use the same mounts and halfshaft?

yes .. the Mounts and halfshaft are the same.. (hydro gsr and b16)

 

ok on your opinion which transmission would you recommend...b16 or gsr...its on a fully built LS that im goin to be turboin the **** out of...in a hatch EG

Everone love them GSR trannys on a boosted set.. BUT me....

One my race car.. Im rock with a b16 gear set on a 25inch tire... Thats how I roll

Others will say different.

if you want my pick.. B16 gears.. on the LS.. and turboed..

 

well i wanna drive it too lol so i think imma go with the GSR transmission...any tranny 94-01 will work right...im hearin from local junkyards that 98-01 wont work for some reason. I think they will? correct me if im wrong please

You are correct... 94-01 all hyrdo B trannys are interchangable.

Gsr is a good choice.. *
