Skunk 2 coilovers may be too stiff for those shocks to handle. I suggest getting kyb agx or tokico illuminas, or if you have the money koni yellows.

 

my da is on coilovers with kyb struts.... but im not exactly sure what kind.

The KYB GR-2 is just a stock replacement Strut. It is not ment to handle a lowered car. If u want KYB and wanna lower your car, at least get the AGX's.

You can use the GR-2's but only if u plan on lowering ur car slightly. If u wanna dump it (2" or more) they might blow right away or they might blow within a few months.

Dont take the chance of blowing them and having to get new ones. Get a strut thats ment to handle a lowered car.
