Default camshaft.........

edit to the post

damn I feel like an idiot now for doing the typo earlier. Left out the not in my sentence. I wonder if the moderators are going to move my post back to roadracing/autocross section?

hi there, I was wondering would the toda's be a better camshaft for road racing or going into the tracks then the juns or skunk2s? I am not going to be dragging. Tried a search but didn't find anything. Thanks.

depending on your setup, ie compression headwork, header, exhaust,e tc

I recommend Skunk2 type 2's they are pretty much identical to JUN3's and cost about 250-350 less.

To make the advertised gains, you will need at least 11:1 compression but 12:1 is recommended, heavy duty valve springs for 12 mm lift, retainers, bigger injectors, ecu, cam gears, and a vafc or hondata.

After all that you have to tune it all in to make it all work harmoniously, don't think you can slap all these parts in and put down 200 to the ground..

I have a Skunk2 type 2 graph vs Jun 3 graph the results are identical.

email me if you want them

some ppl say that the toda's do much better in road racing because of their better midrange then the skunk2's and juns. I was just wondering what are your experiences with the skunks's jun and todas when road racing?

say, FAST94GSR when you say bigger injectors, how big is big? stocks are 240cc. I don't think NA's are going to go as big as ppl going turbos.
