EM1 rear sway bar
Does anybody have a picture of an EM1 sway bar mounted on an em1 or ej8? I have mine mounted on my ej8 but I'm not sure if I have it the correct way. I've been searching but can't find what I'm looking for.
Also I don't know if this belongs in appearance/cosmetic but I apologize if it does. Thanks.

Sorry for offlinking, but I'd say this is the most definitive thread on the subject I've seen:

Do any of you guys with a swaybar have problems with the endlinks, or the swaybar that attaches to the endlinks hitting your exhaust?
My WS2 hits my swaybar.... and I cant stand the noise, so I took it off and wont use it.

WOW! i haven't seen a link to JDMcivic in soo long. There isn't much to mounting a stock sway bar, with all of the stock bracketry.

No it won't just bolt up unless you are running an aftermarket subframe brace or you use the SI brackets with hardware. The non Si civics have holes but they aren't threaded so you will have to use the SI brackets and some bolts/nuts. See these threads

I have the integra bar on my 96 and I used integra brackets but I had to add some washers to make it work (see first link to see why). But its easier to use the Si brackets and buy some hardware from Lowes or Home Depot.

Didn't find so graphic info until now :-)

You don't need a brace for a 13/14mm bar, there is no way they are tearing out the subframe, unless the subframe is already ****ed up..
for a 22mm bar on a 96-00 a brace is absolutely required.
All I had to do was buy 4 10mm bolts and 4 lock nuts. Drill out the subframe bracket a small bit. I used OEM bolts every where else.
BUT ASR has backing plates that slide inside the subframe (basically what SI's have) for 12 bucks. Then you simply order 4 of their bolts. (highly recommended due to the length) and bolt them in. No drilling needed.

I think it's 11mm, and i was unable to find that size. And I wasn't about to drill into my subframe
Hmm...not sure now. It could have been a standard size bolt instead of metric but its been at least a year now so I'm drawing a blank. I used a bolt style like this from Lowes:

That's right. I forgot about that lol
