My buddy has a act stage 2 clutch in mint condition for a 92-95 d-series tranny I have a 94 civic but I have a 98 civic ex tranny, would I be able to use this clutch in my tranny?

 

to my understanding a d-series tranny is a d-series tranny. gear ratios and what-not vary, but all of the parts are interchangeable.

no they will not
there is one extra tooth on the 96+
i know this from picking up a clutch and it ending up being the transmission
i have a 95 ex transmission
was debating on upping to the 96+ ex transmission
was going to just pick up the 96+ to go in with the new clutch but was advised by my boy that was doing the work that they will not fit
so i picked up another 95 ex transmission
if he was wrong I'm going to kill him

Get ready to kill your boy because I have used a 96 clutch on a 94 flywheel and 95 ex Transmission. As long as the clutches are both hydraulic, they will work on any d-series engine.
