Default Will these wheels/tires fit my honda?

I'm not good with tires/wheels and still learning. Trying to figure out what's the maximum tire size that would fit my car 02 accord coupe 5 lug 114.3. There is a nice deal that a guy is offering for 4 18" BBS wheels and 235/40/18 Michillen tires for $450! o.0

you should be fine but just double check the offset of the rim.

Is you car lowered?

Well as far as he knows there is no offset. Is there a way on checking that? And nope not yet...it's not lowered. I want to get it lowered probably by friday or so. I got the springs and shocks sitting in the trunk. The springs say they drop 1.5 rear/front, but I know they drop more than they say, so I'm thinking about 1.8 .

well, there has to be an offset unless it's 0 which wouldn't work anyway.

here is a description of offset...

Definitely find out the offset before purchasing.

alright here's the scoop. The guy though wrong about the wheel size. They're 17's which is better. the tires are 235/45/17 and the wheels have 42 offset 17x7. So, is it worth getting it?
