I have stock ecu from a 00 civic. running a edelbrock piggyback ecu, i was thinking out taking it off and go with hondata or crome. What will i need, from what i know is that all i need is a jumper wire harness (obd2-obd1) and a tuning system. do i need anything else?

First off- do you want to tune it yourself? or do you want to take it somewhere and let a professional tune it? Where are you located? check out the tuner directory at the top of the FI section- itl help ya out trust me lol
anyways since your car is OBD2, your going to need a harness to go from OBD2 to OBD1- Secondly your going to want a P28 ecu from a 92-95 civic ex/si- Auto or manual doesnt matter with a competant ecu tuner he can convert it over to manual in about 30 seconds.
He will then chip the ecu, create a basemap onto a chip, and put it in. then using a wideband he will monitor engine parameters and create a new chip over and over until its perfect.
I would HIGHLY recomend just taking it to a tuner and having them do it- the initial costs are going to be upwards of 500 dollars for you, and you can really hurt your engine. A good tune will cost you about 500 but its going to be much better, as well as less stressful for you.
hope that helps..
