Hole somewhere in undercarriage?
Alright so here's the deal, I live in Winnipeg which is located in Canada, the weather here has been pretty shitty lately. We've had alot of wet weather and there's been alot of big *** puddles forming, I hit a huge one going pretty fast and i noticed that my passenger sides carpets are all soaked with water. Does that mean i have a hole somewhere or something? I mean the windows were up and the doors were obviously shut...please i need some answers. thanks HT
Well it could be a hole in your floorboard. Pull the carpet and check.
It could also be a leaky heater core. Those are notorious for springing leaks but if it has gotten wet all the way to the rear passenger area, I don't think that is the case because you'd smell coolant a mile away by now.
It might also be the windshield. Maybe not the glass itself, but if you have a bad seal somewhere, then rain water could be seeping in behind your dash and running down the firewall, thus soaking your carpets.
Good luck.
