when i hit the freeway...going about 80 mph...my speed starts to drop and my 90 integra doesnt want to go pass 3000 RPM....the rpm just keeps dropping lower and lower...then suddenly go back up at times...have this happend to anyone?

 

its called engine breaking

so is that what happened when I swapped my transmissions? I had a similar experience.

does yours run perfect like for about 5 miles then slows down on itself? rpm dropping lower and lower even when you downshift?

yep. that's how it was after the swap. but after that incidence, the car ran normal and no problems. no issues now...

 

did you change anything?

 

No. I'm pretty sure my situation was different then yours. seem like a simple break in for the tranny.

 

check ur dizzy like the rotor may be lose or something thats wat was wrong with mine then i changed the rotor no more problem
