b-series swap alternator clearance
i havent done my swap yet but from what i've heard so far is that you have to bang out that area where the alternator is rubbing when you put a b engine in an ef chassis

Lmao no need to bang it in.
Use a 90-93 ls alternator and a 95 del sol alt belt thats 30'' part number 300k4. Thats what im running with NO banged in anything and it has a good 1/4 inch clearance.

yeh i was thinking those alternators sit like 7inch away from the anywhere close to the motor if u had it tucked closer to the motor u wouldnt have to bang that spot just position it closer and get smaller belt. Dam some day some one will be thinking why they all have that spot dented ha ha
I tried that part number out but it didn't work for me. Part number 280k4 works for me though 👍
