wow, thats really on there.

have you tried spraying it with PB Blaster? Maybe that will help to loosen whatever is holding it up.

Also, someone suggested to try and remove the key from the crank/pulley. If you are able to remove that key you can try turning the crank pulley on the crank to loosen whatever it is thats holding it back. Just don't try pushing that key back into the pulley because it will just drive it in and wedge it even more.

I don't believe it's the bolt he is having problems with, but the crank pulley itself. Trying to get it off the crank after the bolt has been removed.

that is correct.....the bolt is out and the pulley is being stubborn....ive used pb blaster wd40....as i said b4 the 3 jaw pullers had no effect and as of today(and about 4 man hours with 2 ppl) of using the slide hammer has really done nothing

i think there were little hole for it on the backside of the pulley....a buddy of mine(who used to be a goodyear mechanic) actually put the hammer on there

how would you have gotten to the back side of the pulley?

I don't recall any threaded holes in the pulley that a slide hammer would go into.
