Default b16 j-spec questions

how long do the seals hold up in a b16 before it starts burning oil? i am not a ricer and hit vtec every where i am just a curvy road guy?

the engine has been take very good care of. and i ment i don't hit vtec every gear everytime i drive like most the [pejorative]s around my area. and think i am cool. so how many miles can a b16 take before seals start going out?

Again, it depends on how it was driven and maintained before it was transplanted into your engine bay.

Why are you so concerned about the seals leaking?

If you beat the motor just move up your maintance shedule your on and it should last. My b16 came outa a 88' teggy in japan and most of my seals were good cept for my vtec sensor. To bad I hydro locked it in jersey.

i don't want to start burning lots of oil b/c i run royal purple oil and its 7.50 a quart. and i hate worrying about oil sh** i just want to be able to drive and not have it bothering me.
