Well early this morning I hydroplaned my EG hatch. there was so much water that it was coming in through my doors. I got it off the exit and everything seemed fine but when I got out to look at the out the was took my rear bumper off and had pulled my side skirts off. But my main problem and question is when I cut my car off it was hard to start back up and when it did start and I gave it some gas it puttered and cut off. I let it sit to some what dry out and when i went to start it started fine and at first drove fine but then after about 30 min it started to putter again like it wasn't getting any gas. Im hoping i just got a little water in the system and not much. What should I look for into all this?

yup and could have fouled up the plugs, which would explain the car dying on you. Plus water in the oil sloshing around is never a good thing

So are you afraid that you hydrolocked or did you hydroplane. Hydroplaning means you hit a puddle in the road and you skid. Hydrolocking requires you to go through enough water that it gets sucked into the engine.

yes I did go through a large amount of water. but it is still running so i dont think i hydrolocked it. when i drove it to work this morning everything seemed ok. im still gonna check the plugs and oil
Well, do you have CAI on this car? I assuming you did get water into the motor, so pull the plugs and crank the motor. It'll push out some water through the openings. Put in fresh plugs and change the oil. GL!
