Default Lowering my ride??????

I am trying to get the best kit that there is to drop my 2002 accord coupe V6. I have decided to drop it by changing the springs, because coilover-sets are too expensive, and because it is only my daily ride I am not taking it onto a track.

My question is which springs would be my best choice? Eibach or TEIN.

If Eibach here is the choice I have :http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EIBAC...spagenameZWD1V
or this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V
TEIN choice would be this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

And also what about the camber kit? should I get one?

Both Eibach and Tein are quality pieces.

I have heard that Tein springs are softer than Eibachs.

How about the camber kit. Do you think I would need it. Because TEIN gives a nice drop of 2.1 in the FR and 1.7 in the back.

dude, get k-sports coilovers, they are cheaper and better than the tien basics and ss.

if your going to drop it past 2", you'll need a wheel alignment.

I know that The thing is if you read my post, that I dont want to spend 800$ in order to drop my car for looks. That's why I have decided to go with springs. I was wondering if I needed the camber kit? I'll definitely check the alignment afterwards.

hahah SPAM! ha...

but accord-guy, with you wanna drop your car past 1.5". you should really look into new struts also with the springs. lowering too much on OE struts will blow them out.

an yeah, if you intend on lowering past 1.5" a chamber kit is some what needed but i would rather go to a place to get my wheels aligned professionally.

eibach springs and tokico blues are a good match. cheaps and easy. http://www.wootparts.com can help you out! tell him brian(bao) sent ya. he'll price match and send them to your house.

Ask me why I did that?

Every single question he's asked is answered in that thread.

From doing it cheaply to camber kits, to brands, etc.

People ignore the **** ton of [freak]ing info available right in front of them.

It's kewl AccordGuy, you just have to realize, that when someone says, look in the Accord FAQ first, it's because 99% of the info you need is listed there.

And that 1% extra is where you ask for clarification.

The FAQ says that I might need new struts man another 200$ I know many people who drive on stock struts and seem to have no problem. What do you think about that, do you really believe they would brake quickly?

Stock ones wear out more quickly on lowering springs. It's just how it is.

After XXX,XXX miles and lowering springs it's a good chance they'll go bad, that's why the FAQ suggests upgrading them as well.

I guess I'll order them too, and as far as camber goes I'll look into it after lowering the car. If it is going to look bad then I'll buy one too. I'll just have to grind the back fenders because my wheels 18x8 tires 225 45 18, is there another way of getting rid of the one inch fender lips that are on the inside. Someone mentioned that I could roll it in, But I think grinding is the way to go 'cause I will paint it basically make it look like it was never cut.

you can most likely do without a camber kit. But definitely get an alignment after you lower the car or after doing any suspension work.

And as for the fenders, roll them.

Thanks brian for the link to my site.

You can get away without a camber kit till about 1.5" drop, then I would highly recommend it, you will get the most wear out back. Which is a cheap and easy fix. Space it out with washers and longer bolts temporarily.

If you haven't decided and ordered up a set of springs let me know! i will take care of ya!

And for the price I can get you a set of ksports, you might want to reconsider some coilovers 800? Nahhhhhhhh
