Default Slight hesitation issues...'93 Civic VX...

Hey guys I need some input from you knowledgeable folks...

-'93 VX, bone stock, 195K

The car gets a very subtle/slight hesitation at low RPM's during very low throttle. Otherwise it accelerates very strong, idles perfectly, no check engine lights etc.

Here are some more tidbits:
-When cold, it doesn't do it at all, but once it barely starts to warm up the issues begin
-If you hold the RPM's in any gear above 2900 rpm's there is no hesitation or stutter.
-Under ANY acceleration there are no issues(again, just at part throttle under about 2900 rpm)
-There is no hesitation or stutter under deceleration.

Today I just replaced the plugs with OEM NGK's and I installed an OEM fuel filter...no changes in the problems

Thanks for any idea's fellas.

Just an FYI since I found alot of similar hesitation issues in other posts...

Problem resolved!

It turned out to be a faulty 02 Sensor. The VX's have a funky 5-wire Wideband 02 sensor stock. They are pricey units but checker gave me a heck of a deal and got me one for $192 out the door
Thanks.

Ouch, that's actually not a deal...but I bet it feels worth it seeing it did fix the issue. The O2 is the same part/issue I have on my Ex/Vx swap combo right now. It needs a 5-wire O2 cuz the 4-wire ain't cutting it.

I felt like it was a great deal:
Checker: $192 out the door
Advance: $330.00 + tax
Autozone: $333.00 + tax
Carquest: $440.00 + tax
Dealer: $5XX.00 + tax
Napa: $475.00 + tax

welcome to the life of VX/HX ownership.
They live on their O2 sensors, anything even slightly wrong with it and the car is noticeably different.

$192 for the O2 isn't bad, but it's not great either. Last one I picked up was $125. (ebay is for some things)
