read around and look at what other people have done..the search featue is your friend..

personally i would build the bottom end; high compression pistons, new rods, oem bearings,ARP bolts..then P&P the head.

the biggest oxymoron in the world ur mot going to have a all motor turbo killer unless its a single cam with itty bitty turbo.. just throw a turbo kit on there now and u will have mucho fun. but u want to stay all motor so i say sleve the block high comp and some nasty head work..

...IF its an ebay special, half assed tuned, and payed for with beer. Anything you do can be cheap, but if you want something reliable, you gotta dish out the cheese, and if you want what ever you build to be the best to its ability you HAVE to tune... tuning costs money so people just get someone to throw a chip in their ECU and call it good... and thats why they are the ones getting passed up. Put your heart and your wallet into whatever you do and youll be happy.

there is no such thing as an all motor turbo killer in the honda world. you will get owned even if you have buttloads of money and spend a billion on your block/head. if you want more power swap a corvette engine in your civic then you could beat on turbo hondas all day long

fully built k24/k20 motor is really the only thing that will beat a good turbo setup. i know guys that have put thousands into a n/a motors and lose to a k20a3 si with a greddy turbo kit with a stock motor otherwise running 8 lbs by alot
my outtake.... boost it and call it a day.
