Default car looses power and stutters

im having some issues getting my car to run right. i have a 1995 honda civic ex 5 speed with d16z6, my issue is that when i leave it in a certain gear and sort of coast in that gear it stutters and looses power and i have to let go of the accelerator and gun it like get more air in for it to kick back on. im not sure what it could be i recently changed the spark plugs which could be it? this is what i have done to the car engine wise, ngk v power plugs gapped to .045, short ram intake, 4-2-1 headers, new denso universal o2, and catback. im not sure what it could be but im thinking may the gaps on the spark plugs are off? does it make a big difference if theyre not all gapped exactly the same?
