Default clutch problems HELP

i just installed my stage 2 clutch with a fidanza flywheel. when the car is off it goes into all gears easily. when i turn the car on and press iun the clutch it wont shift into gear. the clutch dosent disengage fully. i alrady bleed the system. could it b the throw oput bearing?? help

There is an asembly behind ur clutch pedal that can be adjustd so the clutch can disigage more or less

i plled the trans off again and everythng was assembled right. i bleed the cltch a shitload and still nothin. boght a new slave cylinder and nothin. any more suggestions

i tried adjusting the padal and that didnt change anything. the pressure plate and throw out bearing are new. im starting to think that it is my transmittion not my clutch assembly. it looks like when i put the car on the ground it wont shift because there is force being put on the trans which wont let it shift. If the car is in the air on jacks the car shifts fine but when put on its wheels it wont go into gear. also the fifth gear is really hard to put it in to.

i took the clutch off again and on the back of the pressure plate there was a circler made from it hitting the clutch disk. the clutch disk springs were rubbing agaainst the back of the pressure plate springs. could this be the problem? im installing a new stock clutch for now. any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you put the clutch disc in bacwards, I know when I was installing my Stage 2, it was an Exidy Clutch, but it didn't say which side goes towards the flywheel like the factory ones do.

it only goes on one way though. if installed the other way the pressure plate wouldnt be able to touch the flywheel or even get bolted on

How is this possible? Did you use the alignment tool to put the clutch on? If so do you have the small bearing in the Flywheel to center the alignment tool and the Thansaxel spline shaft? In order for the clutch springs to hit the pressure plate I would think that the clutch isn't centered. That or like I said earlier, the clutch disk is backwards. When you install the pressure plate its supposed to be off the flywheel a little. when you tighten the bolts it will suck the pressure plate down to the flywheel and at the same time push on the pressure plate springs where the throw out bearring will touch. If you're putting the clutch in and the pressure plate sits flush on the flywheel without any bolts in it when yeah it's backwards. You'd be defeating the purpose of the pressure plate as there would be no pressure. On another note, those small pressure plate bolts need to be tightened in the form of a star and be sure to tighten them all alittle bit at a time until the pressure plate is touching the flywheel before torquing them down. I'm sure you already knew that but I just thought I would remind you. GL

i used the alignment tool so it was all centered and im possitive it was all installed corectly just like u said. but still no go. i bought a new clutch disk and it 2 mm shorter than the one i was using. i think someone just mixed up the clutch disk with the pressure plate or i got the wrong clutch.

TAKING TRANNY BACK OFF AGAIN. I BOUGHT A NEW SLAVE AS WELL BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE PISTON WASNT PUSHING THE FORK OUT ALL THE WAY. BLED IT 10000000 TIMES. SO LOOKING FOR SOME INPUT AS WELL !
