yes you can, if your pockets are deep enough. You may want to check dimensions of the engine bay as well. Either way, its gonna be a tight fit.

 

Why would he need deep pockets? If you could weld and wield a sawzall yourself, all you need is half a brain. The only thing I see being a large expenditure outside of the engine/tranny/ecu/wiring harnesses is possibly custom axles, but even thats not a big deal

 

There is a big difference in being able to do something and being able to do it right. To properly swap in an engine with custom mounts a certain degree of engineering knowhow would be required as the position of the drivetrain and its connecting components is crucial to reliable performance.
