What head is being used on this setup?

And by GSR internals you mean what? Crank? Rods? Pistons?

The whole point of a Ls/Vtec is to mate a LS bottom end for its stroke to a Vtec head. Swap the crank and rods to GSR spec in a LS block and your right back to a GSR

 

either a b17 gsr or a built b16 head

Really a LS bottom end with arp bolts aka the bare bones for a ls/v will do a 60 shot with no problem.
