Default Cam timing

Ok i will try to explain this as easy as possible.. i put a new timing belt on my d16y8.. the cam gear has a word "up" punched on it. so at first i figured that shoudl face up.. but on two of the spines on almost opposite sides there is one notch on either side..
There is two arrows on the head to.. Now if i line the notch up to the arrow i can't get the other notch to line up to the other arrow.. and the word "up" is not dirrectly verticle.. so what theh ell do i do?

ok, well, i am not entirely sure on the d16's but i know "for sure" that on the b16's the cams have that notched on them as well. those notches must be faced toward the center facing (lined up) eachother dead on. if not then your day is gonna suck! this i know caus ei put skunk2 cams on my b16 so i am assuming the stock cam gears on your d16 would be the same. if you already figured it out by now and i am wrong let me know that way i know for future reference
