its probably 14psi and 240whp... and that manifold looks like a cheap ebay manifold that will probably crack soon

You are better off buying a civic and boosting it yourself instead of buying someone elses beat to hell turbo motor

after looking at pictures of the civic in question, i'll tell you that you probably dont want to deal with it. That turbo setup (SSAC) is known for its problems...the turbos spew oil, the manifolds crack and the wastegates dont hold boost like they should. All in all, they're just not worth the headache.

I hate it when people talk **** on products that work. Might not be a full race manifold, But mine is making 355whp and over 10k miles on it and not a crack ever.

that setup is not making anywhere near 340whp. fist off its an LS with what looks to be a ebay turbo kit. second 440cc injectors cant support 340whp. 300 yes, not 340whp. save ur money and look for something better or buy it if you want a car thats probably making ~220whp

And i hate it when cheapasses like yourself decide to further this whole topic. Its not a Full Race manifold by any stretch, its a $99 pile of crap that's about as thin as a pop can. If you're running it without problems, then good for you, but last time i checked, Ebay parts and reliable dont generally go together. Some people get lucky, but there are a large portion of people who have Ebay parts break on them.

Also i think saying "products that work" should have a little note at the end; therefore, reading "products that work....for about 10% of people who buy them."

Not really. But if something works, dont can it just because of the name. The tech forums on here are just as bad as the APC forum. Telling people with rotas to screw off and put on volks that cost more than the car itself

i like my rotas...i rocked ebay log manifold, turbo, bov, intercooler as well. the turbo lasted 20k and then i had to get it rebuilt. for the money it wasnt bad. The thing is with the stainless steel manifolds is they are known to crack. Thats why people get them braced. They work ok, but for the extra money you can get something that looks better and is better quality and not have to worry about your wastegate falling off on the highway.

I must say that I personally don't like putting cheap unreliable parts on my car. But beyond that...this forum is starting to die more everyday and I, for one, and really sick of all the arrogant asses on here, the shittalkers, the people who'd rather be an *** then help someone just starting out or learning.

I love my ITR, but when I go on my buddies domestic forums, they treat me with respect despite what I drive. Whereas you have to be afraid to even ask a question anymore on Honda Tech because of how people are becoming....IT A INTERNET FORUM. If people kept their opinions to themselves and just answered TECH questions to the best of their ability...or even had POLITE discussion around why they disagree maybe people wouldn't talk such **** about H-T...

There's a fine line between something that works and something that works and is reliable. Since your manifold is currently off your car, take it and compare the welds and the thickness of the welds and tubing to a good quality manifold and post your thoughts then....

To the O.P. Get more info from the owner, i dont think he is being completely honest with you. I make 340whp at 13.5psi on a semi built ls/v just as a comparison

Doesn't really sounds like the owner knows whats going on. Just for that fact I would be weary.

Just because you spend more money on something it does not necesscarily mean that it is better or will do the job. I know a guy nonames that cajme to my friends shop spent 900 bucks on his manifold and his wastegate port fell off at the track explain that , I have a cheap manifold from ebay but everything else I run isnt not cheap before anyone start , and my manifold is going strong. But one thing that seperates me from the others is I know it will go someday. I still wouldnt buy no full race or nothing unless I was going all track.

If we're going to have any kind of actual discussion about this, we're all going to have to be a bit more civilized. OR if this is just going to be a big arguement, then its getting locked.
