Default lug nuts, what torque

92 Si with aftermarket wheels (Volks & Kosei's), standard 4 lug hubs.

How much lug nut torque? 80 Ft lbs?

Wait, I thought you were supposed to tighten until they strip and then back off a ⅛ of a turn...

I thought it was tighten it until it smokes then back it off a 1/4 turn??
or maybe it was German torque.... Guttentight??
Im confused now...
