Default 1998 honda accord dx dying!?!

I have a 98' accord dx i4 non-vtec and i recently had to change the cat. The problem is, is the o2 sensor was in the middle and not towards the end of it. That being said could that cause the engine to die while driving? The engine dies when i'm driving down the freeway or on the streets and it takes 10-15 times before it will start, it sorta starts then dies again the pos. Any ideas?

oh yea the maintence required and check engine light are on 2.

the best thing to do is find out what code is stored causing the CEL.
Some parts stores will read the code for free in hopes of selling you lots of un-needed parts.
Has the ignition switch recall been done?

I didnt know about the switch recall. I did have the code read once and it has somthing to do with the obd2 cause the oygen sensor was placed in the middle of new cat of got and the original location is on the end of the cat so i could imagine its the same cat code again but could that sensor being moved 4 inches make the car do this?
