They are all the same. Even a B16 oil pan will work.

wrong...

for direct replacement you will need an itr pan or a gsr pan (will have p72 stamp on bottom)

b16/b18b/b20b/b20z all share the same pan.
itr/gsr share the same pan. only a P72 stamped pan will work.

exactly... ive also heard that if you use the oil pick-up from the same pan *such as b16 pick-up with b16 pan* that it would work

What about the B16B (CTR) oil pan? Will that work?

You'll need to get a GSR or ITR oil pan only. As previously said, find a pan that has p72 stamped on it or get an aftermarket pan, like Moroso or the like, specifically for an ITR or GSR. Any oil pans for a B18 non C, or B16, will not clear the crank girdle, therefore, will not mount to the bottom of the block.

But I thought the B16B uses a GSR/ITR block and the girdle of a ITR/GSR?

maybe you have a GSR/ITR oil pan on your b16? hopefully your pickup is reaching far enough..?

i seem to remember trying a B16 pan on a GSR motor and it wouldn't clear.

He has a B16B, aka CTR engine which uses a ITR/GSR block. I will not be surprised if that oil pan is stock.
