milling a sohc. does it raise hp?
i can only imagine it would, not sure how much, but raising the displacement only if its a small amount will give you some gains... not sure if the money

google zealautoworks for that handy dandy calculator. If you already have the head off getting it milled is only 30 or 40 bucks and you will pick up a few ponies. You cna't mill it too much of course because of the valves of course.
I milled the head on my z6 and i noticed a bit of power increase but be sure to check youre iacv and pcv valves before you put it back together cuz mine has some serious blowby issues that need to be worked out

Right, but it's more like a 2-3% increase. The percentage drops once you surpass a certain compression ratio (14:1 I think?).
