help with gsr swap!!
just finished my 99 gsr swap into my 94 civic si hatchback. got everything on, tried to turn the motor on and it just wouldn't work. there's fuel and everything, but when i tried to turn it on, it just does nothing. i charge battery already and it was not that. before the swap, i also took out the crank pulley because i had to install a bracket for the driver side mount. any idea what could be wrong. thanks.
i'm using an obd2 engine harness, but everything plugs right up. i just have some plugs left cause obd1 don't use all the plugs that obd2 has. i also swith the manifold to a skunk2 pro-series one. also the throttle body is obd1 because i need it for the canister. that's basically it and eveything else is obd2.

that in tells your problem. obd2 to obd1 is not plug and play. the injectors are not the same(the wiring is different on obd2) and a few of the other wires aren't the same(don't remember) you need to go a search and look. you need to make the obd2 wire harness work with the obd1 wire harness(don't leave any hanging wires. they should all be wired together) and plus if you're using a obd2 ecu with out the jumper, that could also be another problem(that is not plug and play ether).

lolz, why would i use a obd2 ecu for my obd1 car. obd2 is plug and play if u change ur distributor, alternator, and injectors. my car works now, it was just the wire to the starter, it was on too tight.
