changing ball joints

Default changing ball joints

hey everyone,
planing on changing my ball joints need diy, already saw the video how to pop them out, just want to read from a to z.
also do i change the upper ball joins at the same time or there is no point doing that ? my mechanic said my lower need to be changed but didnt say anything about upper.
any help appreciated.
gonna do it on the driveway, how hard is it? any special tools i should rent ?

upper ball joint cant be replaced. u will have to buy the whole arm. u can rent a ball point press from autozone for free. u pay $100 deposite and then once u return the equipment, they will refund u $100.

A mallet and a freezer. Freeze the balljoints, then hammer them into the knuckles.
