**PROBLEM**
Heres the short version. I recently put a b18b1 motor into my ek coupe. Obd1 motor to obd2 car.. So its been running for like 2 weeks. And everytime I turn on the car it takes a little bit longer to start up. And once it turns on it revs between 2000 and 2500rpms. then slowly it goes down till it eventually get to 1000. So today a couple minutes ago I went to grab some food and when I tried to turn on my car it wouldnt start. So i kept trying it. Till it finally turned on. When I was driving backhome my rpm gauge started flipping out while I was in 3rd gear 4th the same and 5th aswell. I dont know what happened then it just suddenly stopped working. After when I pressed on the gas it did have the same potential it had from b4. so I drove it all the way home. When i turned off my car i tried to turn it back on an this time it wouldnt start back up. If anyone knows what the problem might be pls let me know. Maybe what things to check. Well ill be waiting Thanx!
Your extremely vague title doesn't help your case. Something like:
"OBD1 LS into OBD2 EK - Revs Funny, and Now won't start!!!" might be a much better attention grabber.
Having said that if the tach jumps around that sounds like a distributor problem. that could explain the difficulty starting too.
As far as the idle issues goes you need to give us more info such as:
Which ECU you running?
Is the check engine light on? What codes?
Help us help you
