I have a UKDM EK civic VTi (B16A2) and an EG civic ESi (ZC VTEC 1.6 SOHC) on both cars if the engine is switched off but acc is left on and the bumper lights are on, the needle on the fuel guage will ride to the full mark even the tank is near empty. I only noticed it the other nite on the VTi and then checked the ESi and the same thing happened, i asked a few friends with EG and EK civics and they said it happens on their cars too!!

 

i'm sorry...i never paid attention to my gas needle while i park...i'ma check this out though hehehe

 

Don't happen on my usdm.

 

Doesn't happen on my EH2 hatchback.

not here either.. maybe if i plugged in a jdm cluster it might do it.. my gas guage stays where the tank level is at when the car is switched off..

 

i have a usdm ek civic and ive had a ctr cluster, usdm cluster, and mugen cluster the gas needle stays in place when keys are in the acc position(even in the off position the gas needle does not go down).

Oh and i dont have any bumper lights. it must be a uk thing...
