ball joint camber kit

HELP! ball joint camber kit
i need some help!
anyone install an adjustable ball joint? the instructions say i need a ball joint press, is this nessesary?
it looks easy enough to install, im just worried about getting the old one off of the upper control arm.
any input would be appreciated
