i have a 2000 honda civic si and when i put gas in it it idles bad and it dies. i have to rev it up to keep it running. i changed the fuel filter to see if that was the problem but it still does it. i dont know what else could be the problem. if you could email me it would be great thanks.

are you pumping premium into your baby?

 

yes i put premium gas in it. i have tried all brands of gas. the car runs great in between fill ups it sounds like it is miss fireing.

 

we'll. it could be alot of things but i would look at your injectors and fuel pump, to start the process

 

fuel pump is where would i start

 

ok i will try that. but i dont understand why it would ony do it when i fill up. i would thank if it were something like that it would do it all the time.

 

my civic use to do it and i had a faulty fuel pump. it wasn't priming. if you turn your key to the on position does the fuel pump prime? all the time?

 

i dont hear it prime at all so that must be the problem. thanks a lot
