Default S2000 lowering spacer needed ????

OK some people said that when lowering a s2000 you need to put a spacer for the drive shaft , do you ?? if not drive shaft will pop out ?? to me its sounds weird that a drive shaft will pop out like that ...

Yes it is best for safety precautions, my friend didn't do his and he lowered it and something [freak]ed up .. All better after the spacers, for 190bux for the spacers, I'd say go for it .. It's better than fixing something more expensive in the long run

Spacers keep the axles from wearing out prematurely. They're really only needed on cars that are lowered more than an inch.

You're going to want to look into bumpsteer kits as well.

As for these things sounding odd to you....well, you're not working on a DA9 anymore, Toto.

you can get the t1r spacers for alot less then 190. I have them, install wasnt easy like they say, it was a FKIN PITA and I had zero issues installing most to all other mods on my s2 :S

Better safe then sorry, whats 150$ and some time wrenchin on your toy.

my car is slammed. no spacers and been like that for about 10k miles. whats the average premature wear on the axles

i have been on Espelir ASD for about 2 years with no spacers. Car is still fine to me...

i got espelirs on mine as well. but i didnt put the spacers on. i have them though, just too lazy to get under the car. its been 2-3k for me. nothing so far. lets hope it wont come upon me later.

Ok so its moslty for premature wear out on the axles .

Is there a possibility that an axles or drive shaft pops out ??

i think spacers aren't needed. maybe if your going to be doing hardcore drifting or something, but i just cruise and show off my babie sOooo...its been 2 years and everything is still perfect.
