Haha

I so knew you'd be 15 based on the language you used.

Look at the Accord Picture thread to get an idea. However I am proud of you finding the location, you're already heads above half the posters in here.

My personal favorite 6th gen.

If it's an automatic the transmissions are known to be bad. Overall they're still pretty good.

You still have quite a bit of options.

I will tell you however that modding a car snowballs quickly. Even if you say it won't , it will.

Wheels turns into better wheels and tires
Suspension
Cosmetics (tint, lights,etc)
Motors
etc

You can still make the car look good. Just have to find the right stuff to set it off.

Snowballs = piles up quickly, you spend a little money here and there and then it slowly grows to dropping 1000's at a time.

Wheels are just as simple as unbolting the current ones and putting the new ones on.

Best bet is to do research on HT about it.

If you have a V6 accord it's 5x114.3 bolt pattern and if you have a 4 cyl it's 4x114.3 so you'd look at wheels with that bolt pattern.

Tires and everything you could just get locally to simplify the process.

A body kit I personally wouldn't recommend and probably most people in here won't suggest doing it either.

Start with wheels, possibly do suspension a bit later on.

In reality at your age I WOULDN"T do anything to the car and just do maintenence on it and be happy with a car at 15.

Body kits are whack
buy some eibach coilovers and drop it to the ground! Then intake & exhaust.

I have to agree with him, that's one of my favorite Accords. Met the owner at a few meets. It's even lower now I think.

Its stock, what is so ugly about it?

If the paint is fine, don't mess with it. Also if you are going to give it a good paint job and not have money for rims, it will look bad either way.

So i would say get rims first, but then it would not look right without a drop. And when you drop, you're going to need better shocks. See what MuffinMan mean my snowballing?

You have plenty of years ahead of you. I would leave it stock until i have done more research and have more $$.

And please, no body kits. Your in that phase where every 15 yr old wants a body kit, so fight it.

Yes we have all been there...take our advice......body kits aren't all there cracked up to be on the Accord. Maybe a front lip, rear spoiler and some minor stuff. The Fast and the furious look is over 7 years old now. Body kits were a very fast passing fad. Yes you still see a lot of cheese out there but help keep the real cars real. If you want to do a body kit, mess up a Civic or something.

DO NOT modify it haha, i started arond your age, and im sitting here in school @ 19, barley being able to afford it, driving a beat to hell 97 accord......

the car i started with @ 15 was a 93 civic coupe, it sitis in my garage as i gather parts for a k24 swap.

i started off with I/H/E, wheels and removing the back seats......then it snowballed into a rear disc swap, turbokit, etc

x2. If you do start, make sure you saved up double what you put into mods, for maintainance and stuff that breaks. If not, your going to be in a bad situation. Also, do not take short cuts. Spend the extra money to have it done correctly the first time.

IMO though, Focus on school. You ride it out for 4yrs and get a good job, then you can get what ever you want.
