I don't have personal experience with it but I was looking into getting it myself. I know of a guy on another board who had it installed. He was very satisfied with it. The thing is, you need to remember to take the "key" out of the car with you every time. He ended up getting his car stolen because he left the ravelco key in overnight and his car was parked outside. The thieves must have been watching and waiting for him to slip. It may prevent thieves from hot wiring your car, but they can still take it by tow truck if they really wanted it...

my buddy use to have that in his ae86...just a round 16pin connector and only 2 out of the 16 is used for the fuel pump power and ground i believe or wutever u want to hook it up to...i think u can use the other 14 for somethin else but i dunno cuzz my buddy didnt tell me...u would have to carry around a 16 pin female connector on ur key chain so u can plug it in to start the car...if u hooked the kit up urself and only using 2 wires for the power and ground for the fuel pump, u can remember those 2 pin just in case u forget the key for the plug and just jump the 2 slots and the car will start...here is a DIY that is pretty much the same as the ravelco kit

so it basically a switch for what ever you hook it up to. but couldnt you just cut all the wires and twist them together and the car would prolly start? as of now i have a hidden switch in my car and when its off it doesnt allow power to go to the fuel pump. thanks guys for the input

thanks

Well, not ALL the wires, cuz some of them are grounded. But you're right in that Ravelco is useless. A hidden kill switch is much more effective.
