? on brake rotors.
I have to replace my front wheel bearing on the old accord again. Its a 94lx. I'm really hard on the brakes. My question is, I know that I can put the wagon rotors on when I'm doing the rotors to gain the extra diam. But will these work with the stock caliper or due you have to use the prelude/accord V6 calipers. I know I will need diff. brakets. But I don't really want any more stopping power just more cooling power. I have managed to warp every type of rotor that I've put on the car. The extra sze would be nice, just don't want to change out the calipers.
I would suggest you save some expense and trouble and stick with the stock setup, pads and rotors. Use a torque wrench when remounting your wheels.
There is some debate as to wether the rotors actually warp, or the pulsation is due to the pads depositing debris onto the surface of the rotors. Either way, since using a torque wrench, I haven't had any problems with braking vibrations.

if your problem really is heat and warpage i recomend trying a better quality rotor, like brembo OE blanks or slotted. they are made out of better steel and should have a higher thermo capacity and be less prone to warping. and even if you dont change calipers, putting on larger diam. rotors and moving your caliper further from the center with a new bracket will increase brake torque due to more leverage, so i would avoid that route if you dont want to throw off your stock brake balance.
