Default Any brake/caliper upgrade for 4cyl 6th gen?

I'm thinking about beefing up my brake system this summer..

I usually get brembo blanks with performance pads. It does the job, but not 'good' enough for me. The major issue i encountered last summer for me was brake fading due to overheated brake fluid on one particular day..

I was thinking of getting back to the usual setup, and perhaps adding S.S. braided lines to all 4 calipers, aswell as flushing completely my fluid. But then it occured to me..Why not upgrade the calipers!? (especially front)

Now.. I've heard about NSX/Legend calipers used on 5th gens, but what about the 6th gen? Precisely a 2001 4cyl Coupe..

2 Pistons would be perfect, but i guess a single, bigger piston would do the job too.. Anyone did the conversion, or is aware about it? Parts i would need to make it fit? Would i need to proceed with a 5lug conversion too?

I also stumbled across the info that i would need to change the proportioning valve since the braking force wouldnt be the same anymore..

Please help me out
Thanks!!

you could also put TLS/CLS brakes on the car but you gonna need 17" or larger rims. should be able to swap the spindle with everything attached and then use legend 2 piston calipers.

There's the "cobble things together" time honored method as discribed elsewhere, and there is this:

Big Brake kits.

There's also this:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/1990-2002-accord-faq-1664547/

the Honda-tech FAQ section. Look up your project under Brakes

The easiest upgrade is to use the 6th gen V6 accord front calipers and 92-95 prelude Si VTEC rotors. bolts right up.

As said before, 92-96 Prelude VTEC rotors, and your choice of Legend GS Calipers (2-piston), 6th gen Accord V6 calipers, or 92-96 Prelude VTEC calipers. You can find most of these for cheap on PartsAmerica.com, but be sure to purchase a set that INCLUDES the caliper brackets. You'll need those.

Dont know how hard they would be to get in the States.... I have a 6th Gen that comes factory 5 lug and has twin piston calipers (similar to the newer NSX) & 11.8" Rotors.
Not too sure if this conversion has been done yet, but I would emagine it would be an improvement over stock.
Another option (which I'm considering) is the brakes from the latest 2008 Accord's but would mean a compulsary upgrade in rim size to fit.

I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4 cylinder with rear rotors and pads that came stock. I must know are the front knuckle/spindle on my accord are the same as the V6 knuckle/spindle. Meaning could i just swap out the front hub & bearing with the 5 lug hub & bearing to be able to use maybe the 1995 Acura Legend front dual piston caliper with V6 rotors. Also on my 4 cylinder accord could i just swap out the rear hub and rotors and get away with the calipers and pads that are already on my car. Please 🙏🏾 let me know if this works. Thank you in advance ❤️
