Default stuck LCA bolt heres MY solution

this only applies to those that are NOT replacing the shocks, just installing springs or sleeves

mine was stuck, i tried the torch, i tried breaking the spot welds, i tried everything i found in the search on this forum....my final soloution? i unbolted the inner LCA connection and the small beam that goes from the chassis to the arm near the brake drum... with these loose i was able to drop the shock out, wrap it in a towel, and pull the springs and replace with the new omni sleeves this is the rear of course, front was a 20 minute job rear pissed me off and was a 2 hour job.... strange thing is, i did the same setup on a 90, and on a 91 civic and the damn LCA didnt bind...this one was a 94 and it was permastuck

I'm surprised that neither of the other two lca bolts weren't seized as well. Good thinking though. Did you try and remove the bolt when the entire assembly was off the car? That would have been a convenient time to work on it.
