another rear disc conversion
All right fellas im finally getting around to doing a rear disc conversion on my crx. ive done the research and im pretty confident i can complete it sucessfully but i still have few questions so here they go.
1. my crx is a 90 si model with drum brakes, idk how this could be, can someone please elaborate???
2. i think i got the trailing arms off a DA w/abs, if i dont have no other abs parts on my car will this be a problem for my install??
3. the proptioning valve has 20/40 stamped on it also, will this be a problem???
thanks again...

1. from what I've heard, there were some Si models that came with rear disk and some that did not. [dont quote me on that]
2. Bump for an answer, please..
3. Althought that prop valve wion't make the brakes malfunction, they wont be working to their full potential. The prop valve of choice is the 40/40 found in 92-95 civics and 90-01 integra's IIRC

1) I havent hear of Si with rear drums, but the hatch
2) ABS Trailing Arms wont be a problem, I have them on my ef8 and with 1" mc/booster ABS
3) this wont be a problem, but i went with the 4040 since I have DA brakes all around.

it is an old car someone could have swapped them out in the past, 88/89 crx si's had drum, 90/91 si's had disc.
as stated above the trailing arms will work, as will the prop. actually since yours is an si you wont need to swap that out assuming someone has swapped out the rear discs for drums in the past.
