Default motor mount question, am i missing something here??

i feel like an idiot but i dont know what im missing here, course it is my first swap to something other then a d series. I'm not sure what i need to do to get either of these two mounts bolted to the engine. on the rear mount do i need to use a da rear trans bracket somehow in conjunction with the mount im holding in my hand? gahh me = confused if someone could steer me in the right direction it'd be very much appreciated.

aare those the right mounts for the swap your doing, also you need to give more info. I assume your usin an LS bc you said Da integra, and that rear mount bolts to the rear subframe and the engine/ tranny bracket gets mounted to the block/tranny and that is used from the da.

and there is another piec that goes to that driverside mount i believe

oh sorry, its a b18b1 and an ls trans from a 93 teg.

yea i'm sure its the right mount kit. it says to install b18's with cable transmissions into 88-91 civic/crx's.

i see what your saying about the rear mount and that makes sense. so apparently i need a 90-93 da manual tranny bracket.

as far as the drivers side goes i dont know how that bracket is supposed to attach. theres nothing else that came in the kit. i took a look at hasports version for the ef civic/crx and they include the same 3 mounts and nothing else..

http://www.full-race.com/catalog/images/efb1.jpg

so im almost certain i have the right parts but for the life of me how that drivers side mount goes on is beyond me :/

You gotta use a 90 93 integra mount bracket on the engine and that other mount bolts down on your rear cross member

also your gonna need a DA t-bracket that connects the rear subframe/tranny/motor. also dont forget to slide the rear subframe mount over to the right to the second pair of bolt holes

ok, so i now know i need the da t-bracket for the rear but what do you mean slide the subframe mount over? are you referring to the new rear trans bracket that has to be slid over?

i did know about the dent for the alternator, but not sure where this dent goes that i need to make in the rear x-member. what's the dent supposed to make clearance for?

thanks for the help thus far guys!

whats hes trying to say for the rear mount is taht there are 2 sets for holes on the rear subframe already. once u remove the original mount u use the other set of holes for the new one. when looking at the cross member from the front of the car u use the set of holes that are to the right.

you shouldn't have to dent the rear xmember for the tbracket. but i see you got the ebay mounts which may give you either ground clearance issues or your VC may hit the webbing of the hood. if you have time cruise craigslist for a decent mount kit

you really think id have issues with these mounts. i see people use these type all the time and i haven't heard anything bad about them :/

oh and i found this on ebay just a few minutes ago. its from a b20 but it looks similar to the one from the 90-93 da. would this one work by chance or no?

edit: that rear t bracket i need right, does it have to be from a manual trans or are auto and manual trans rear brackets all the same from 90-93? from what i can gather they are but i'd like to be sure on that.

thats weird cause on this listing im looking at it sais the bracket is for all 90-93 integras.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

i guess i'll send them a message and see for which transmission its for, and hopefully they'll know

and for the drivers side motor mount, Would this side post mount from a b20 work, instead of the side post mount from a 90-93 teg

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

it looks identical from the pics but i cant say for certain. i would just go with the 90-93 one since i know for sure it will work, but since this one is cheap and has no bids at the moment i was hopin i might be able to use it lol
