Miss after JDM D15B swap (94 DX)
I'm hoping this will be an obvious fix for you gurus...
Just got done swapping in a JDM D15B into a friends 94 DX. Got it fired up, no codes, set the timing, figured it was good to go. Go for a ride and it misses like hell, imagine a civic having a boxer rumble...
Pull the plugs and they all look good except for #2 which is running noticably richer than the other 3 cyl. I advise him not to drive it until we get it strait. calls me yesterday driving it on his way to work to say its still missing and now hes got a CEL. I tell him to replace the plugs and wires and check the CEL. calls again today saying the plugs/wires didn't help and no word on the code.
So... I'm going to check the firing order, rotor, etc AGAIN for the nth time today after work. Any advice on other things to check? I would think if i had the firing order off or rotor flipped 180 or something, more than one cyl would be effected right?
