I have a obdI jdm b16a in my 96 hatchie and I am having problems finding the right ecu. I have the obdI jdm p30 with the obdII-obdI harness and when I go to connect it starts and dies right away. I alo have the obdII p2p that I hook up without the harness and the car runs okay but idles wierd between 1000 and 2000 rpm and redlines at 7000 but other than that still runs nice. I know with the right ecu it should redline at 8400 and vtec kick in at 4500, at least thats what Ive heard. Can anyone help? Which ecu goes best with this motor?
