JDM B16a with an ITR ecu
Hiya, did a search but couldn't find much info on this...
I swapped out my odb II d16y8 and slapped in a JDM b16a g2 into my '98 civic ex coupe. The only obd II ecu I could score was one from an Integra Type-R. Questions are...will I pass an inspection with this ecu? Aside from running a little rich, is there a huge difference between the itr ecu and the normal jdm b16a ecu? Not sure if I should have secondarys kickin in, but as it is now, no VTEC till the primarys kick in at 6k rpms(which makes for a rather dramatic cross-over). And my last question, is it possible to score an obd II ecu for a JDM b16a...and if not what would be the next best thing...an ecu from a gsr?
anyways...i figured this would be the place to ask...as all the local "tuners" can't give me much info. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Can you pass inspection?? I have no idea
What secondaries and primarys are you talking about?
The best ECU you can get would be a chipped P28 then get it tuned.

get a chipped p28 and conversion harness, tuck everything up where it is supposed to be and it should run right, and not even cause a problem with inspections.
