awd civic swap

Default awd civic swap

has anyone thought about swapping a h22 into a awd civic wagon because they do have a h2d swap brakets so u could run the trans but the trans prob whouldnt hold the power thats the only reason i wouldnt do it just throwing the idea out there im sure someonme will do it someday just seeeing what u guys think about it

y wouldnt you just do a regular h2b setup run a combo of h series and b series mounts and call it a day just use something like a crv trans or something along those lines

i like this idea. i think the tranny would hold for a while. the diff in the rear might not.

It could be done but it would be a complete custom job. The geometry on a CRV drivetrain only works with a CRV.

And do they offer h2d brackets now? I thought they only had h2b? Even if they did, I'm sure you'd have to run a custom intermediate shaft to use the AWD system.

Wizco on ef-honda.com someone did H2D, forgot who made the H2D kit. But that be something spiffy to see H22 AWD wagon.
